Everything went very well
Mr. Francesco was always very kind and helpful. The room was small but had everything you needed, air conditioning and comfortable beds. A fridge available just outside the room. Free parking near the hotel and breakfast included.
The place is close to the excavations and many restaurants and pizzerias.

The operator knew that the water in the city was apparently being turned off. Instead of telling us, he just gave us a canister of water to flush the toilet. Showering etc impossible. A COLD shower was only possible from 9 a.m. onwards.
Also super loud and noisy. Room dusty. Breakfast underground.
Then he had the courage to ask for an extra €10.50 commission instead of giving a discount for the inconvenience.
The operator was well aware that the water in the city (or district) would be turned off. We were not informed about this at check-in and when we checked into the room late in the afternoon we only found a small canister in the bathroom to flush the toilet. Showering in the evening impossible. If we had been informed about this, we wouldn't have checked in at all!
The room was not clean and shabby.
The water didn't run until around 9 a.m. the next morning... but then there was only cold water for showering.
The breakfast wasn't worth the money.
Visiting Italy and not going to Pompeii would be crazy…. Don't stop going. Both the town and the ruins are wonderful…
